In light of yesterday's Orphan Sunday concert, today I am so overwhelmed.
Steven Curtis Chapman performed a live concert in Nashville, TN and it was seen in churches all over the nation via Live Feed Satellite. (Technology is awesome!) His words and his songs were so moving, so direct, so TRUE, and so convicting.
I left the concert purely overwhelmed. God spoke so clearly to me throughout the concert about my new Liberian adoptions. It was as if the two Liberian children we are waiting on were right there in the room saying, Please don't give up on us. That's the message that rang loud and clear in my spirit the entire night.
Needless to say, I cried through the entire concert.
On a lighter note, I want to link you to my friend, Kriek's blog. Kriek is from South Africa and she and her husband, Jumbo, are missionaries for hundreds of children in Swaziland, Africa.
Kriek and Jumbo are in the process of taking Christmas parties to every care point they sponsor in the area where they serve. The first party was yesterday. Check out the pictures! The smiles on the kid's faces are priceless!
