My son, Daniel is learning about the Love Chapter in the Bible- 1 Corinthians 13. He wrote me a letter last week all about love, (or luuuv as he calls it.)
He titled the letter "Love Never Falls."
I thought he made a mistake and meant to say, Love Never Fails, but he told me plainly that he didn't write it incorrectly.
"No Mom, I wrote that because God's love doesn't ever fall."
And you know, he's right!
Here are the words from the letter he wrote. He's only in 2nd grade, so I'll write it exactly as he did with my "translations" in parenthesis.
Love Never Falls
I love you and I now (know) you love me- you and dad.
Even wen (when) I'm mad at you and wen (when) I'm happy with you.
I all was (always) will love you, mom and dad.
Oh how much I have to learn about God's love. But one thing I do know... Daniel was right! God's love never fails and it never *falls*!
